A Farming Tradition
The story behind Forage Farms begins in the beautiful Bylong Valley where three generations of the Andrews family have lived on “Tarwyn Park”, the celebrated home of Natural Sequence Farming.
For over 40 years the property was dedicated to understanding, practicing and teaching the methods of land rehabilitation. Stuart’s father, Peter Andrews pioneered the internationally recognised Natural Sequence Farming technique of regenerative agriculture and land care.
In recent years, the Andrews continued on managing Tarwyn Park through Peter’s son Stuart, Stuart’s wife Megan and their two children Hamish and Lachlan. They began Tarwyn Park Training, a way for landholders throughout Australia to learn about Natural Sequence Farming.
As a way of broadening the understanding of Natural Sequence Farming, Forage Farms was born with the purchase of “Riverside”. So, Natural Sequence Farming will be modified to create a new paddock to plate experience. A Grow + Forage + Feed experience.
Grow our produce sustainably and regeneratively ensuring that our chickens and pigs are the best around and have been grown in a free range + earthed out environment.
Forage our produce fresh from the paddock as it comes with nothing added but the pure goodness that comes naturally with only the best produce.
Feed our produce to the community so they can enjoy, along with us, the best pork and eggs around.
So, the new chapter begins and we welcome you to join us as we start a new chapter of regenerative agriculture.
