HOW ARE YOUR PORK BOXES SENT IN THE POST?
All of our pork boxes are sent with a Refrigerated Courier or Australia Post depending on the address using biodegradable, environmentally friendly Woolcool liners along with reusable ice packs ensuring that everything stays cold on its journey to you.
ARE YOUR PORK PRODUCTS GLUTEN FREE, AND DO YOU EVER USE PRESERVATIVES?
All of our Smoked Ham and Bacon products are nitrate and gluten free, along with all of our non-smoked goods being gluten free as well. We do not add any preservatives or artificial additives to our pork products.
DO YOU OFFER FARM PICKUP?
Yes, farm pickup is available on Fridays from 12PM to 5PM. For any other time please get in touch with us and we will be happy to help.
WHAT IF MY PORK ARRIVES NOT COMPLETELY FROZEN, CAN I REFREEZE IT?
Yes you can. The long held belief that defrosted meat can't be refrozen was proven to be false by a CSIRO investigation where it was stated that as long as the meat has been defrosted in an environment at 5°C or below then it can be refrozen once again. Our meat boxes are insulated and cooled accordingly so that all the meat products remain in an environment below 5°C for their journey, which means that it is perfectly alright for you to refreeze whatever you like, if you don't eat it all first.
WHAT'S YOUR RETURNS POLICY?
Forage Farms is liable for faulty products and will happily accept returned goods and refund monies only if the product is agreed to have been faulty prior to delivery and we are notified within 7 days of product being received, not thereafter. Forage Farms is not responsible for poor handling after dispatch with another carrier, however we will pursue concerns from customers if they arise and seek their reimbursement.
WHAT'S YOUR DELIVERY POLICY?
Deliveries will be made with a Refrigerated Courier or Australia Post. Please include your phone number and arrange for someone to be available for accepting the delivery. We send out an order is fulfilled notice once the order leaves the farm, you will receive a tracking number from the delivery service. Orders close at 12 pm Monday and leave the farm on Tuesdays, any orders received after 12 pm Monday are sent the following week unless otherwise notified. In the event of an order going missing in transit, goods being destroyed or damaged we will endeavour to find and replace your order if necessary.
Deliveries cannot be made to PO boxes or anywhere outside of Australia. In the instance that the recipient has provided incorrect or out-of-date details, Forage Farms is not liable for incorrect or unclaimed delivery.
We process all orders immediately. If you placed an order in error or would like to cancel your order, you have until Tuesday at 8 am. Any cancellation requests after 9 am will not be processed, and your order will be shipped out. Thank you for your cooperation.
